CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:BW) announced today that its
subsidiary, The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W), has been awarded a
contract to supply and install a replacement boiler for ArcelorMittal
Dofasco’s Hamilton, Ontario, steel manufacturing plant.
B&W will supply a TSSG® boiler capable of providing
450,000 pounds-per-hour of steam for generating 20 megawatts of
electricity. The efficient and cost-effective modularized boiler will
operate on a combination of coke oven and blast furnace gases.

applications and is well-suited to produce the high-pressure steam
necessary for our customer’s power needs,” said Mark Low, senior vice

B&W’s full scope of supply also includes burners, furnace, steam drum,
economizer, ducting, fans and other components. B&W is scheduled to
deliver the boiler in late 2017 and complete installation by August 2018.
